I'm a weather which - which "which" are you?
I'm a weather which.
This means I have finally worked out after half a century that I am affected by the weather. Duh.
Most people are - in my case, too many grey days make me a little weepy, emotional, depressed and as gloomy as the sky outside (I live in Seattle).
However, if the sun breaks through, it hits me like a shot of tequila.
And I've worked out that sunshine + ocean = a huge burst of creativity.
I also think four seasons is three too many.
Knowing which “which” you are is really, really important.
There's a ton of ways to find out more about yourself. Journaling is a great way to delve. So is working out your "whiches."
In your closet:
Which clothes do you love and why?
Which colors do you love and why?
Which outfits did you get the most compliments on and why?
Which clothes do you never wear and why?
In your life: Assess your values. Which are important to you? And why?
Here’s some:
- Freedom
- Creativity
- Tenacity
- Spirituality
- Community
- Aesthetics
- Contribution
- Growth
Which character traits are important to you?
For example:
- Kindness
- Intelligence
- Honesty
- Integrity
- Humor
- Wisdom
- Patience
Which activities bring you joy? And why?
- Reading (which books and why)
- Netflix (which shows and why)
- Hiking (which trails)
- Networking (which groups and why)
Which don't?
- Networking (which groups and why)
- Parties (which and why)
- Exercise (which and why)
- Meditation (which and why)
Which people in your life lift you up and why?
Which are emotional vampires/pirates and why?
An emotional vampire is someone who wants your time and energy but doesn't reciprocate in a way that fills you up. A pirate hijacks your time and emotions and steals your treasure.
If you're not sure, ask your body. Do you feel like your skin is crawling? That you don't like who you are with them? Bodies don't lie.
Which are your strengths/talents/skills and why?
Which weaknesses and why? (not sure that's the right word...perhaps foibles? Hold on, I'll check the Thesaurus...aha! Achilles Heel One of mine for example, is tech. It frustrates and confuses me. I delegate.
You can ask someone else.
Like a friend who loves you unconditionally, a mentor, a coach, a boss. Or me, I'll help you work it out.
Or take quizzes.

Dona Sarkar's #Dothething has an exercise where you create Venn diagrams. It's a great way to find a niche where your talents intersect. For me, one is coaching and closets.

Have fun with this!
This is about identifying which is your awesome and "which" is holding you back from being even more awesome.
Remember the fridge. Keep the good stuff and make awesome meals that thrill you or throw out the expired stuff and wipe your shelves clean.
People used to say to me "be yourself." It would drive me crazy. Which self? I'm still a bit of a chameleon, but I'm much better at responding in a way which aligns with who I truly am. I try to add a filter of kindness because it's important to me.
Which "which" are you?
You can book strategy session with me a to work it out. Or to inventory your closet. Or fridge.
